Adam Sandler appreciates Taylor Swift in new interview
Adam Sandler has been gushing over Taylor Swift’s sweet interactions with his daughters. In a press interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Emmy-nominated actor was asked if his daughters, Sadie and Sunny, have met the Grammy winner.
Sandler revealed that both have met Swift “a bunch of times over the years.” The actor praised Swift for being “ridiculously nice and warm.” He added, “Taylor’s been so damn nice to my family, has always been.”
Notably, Sandler and his family had been major Taylor Swift fans for years. The star and his family went to watch the Eras tour in August 2023 at a Los Angeles concert. Later, he took his 17- and 14-year-old daughters to the Los Angeles premiere of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film in October of the same year.
In a previous interview, Sandler also shared how he bonded with his daughters over Swift’s music. When asked about his favourite Taylor Swift song, Sandler said, “Everything [my two daughters] throw on I love, but one of the first ones they threw on when they were young was ‘The Best Day.'”
The actor also dished out on his ritual with his daughters, where they listen to “every album” on “the first day it comes out.” He added, “There’s not a song they don’t know every word to.” (via Billboard)
The actor also talked about his experience of working with his daughters on Happy Gilmore 2 in the same ET interview. As a parent, he shared he feels “just relieved.” “It must be like when you’re the parents of a baseball player and you’re at the game and they get a hit. You just go, ‘Thank god.’ It’s just so much relief.”
