Donald Trump’s ratings have taken another hit, and according to a new report, the disapproval numbers have reached a new high. The changes have taken place ahead of the midterm elections, scheduled for November 2, 2026. Trump’s ratings are seeing these drastic changes amid the current political situation in the country.
Here’s what new Donald Trump disapproval rating says
According to a report by Silver Bulletin, Donald Trump’s disapproval ratings now stand at -13.7. A week ago, the ratings were recorded at -14.6.
The report further states that Trump’s approval rating is lower than that of former US President Joe Biden during the same period of his term. Biden had a rating of -12.2 at this point in his term. On the other hand, Trump’s approval ratings are more favorable at -11, as mentioned by TIPP, whereas a poll by Harvard CAPS/Harris shows the US president’s approval rating at -6.
Trump’s ratings seem to have witnessed a change amid the recent political unrest in the country. From Trump expressing his wish to acquire Greenland to the recent ICE backlash, many big celebrities have also come out to speak against him. Recently, Trump and other Republicans also faced criticism for their stance on Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX halftime show.
Trump called out Bad Bunny after his set and wrote on Truth Social, “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.”
According to a report by NPR, Trump’s approval rating has also been standing at 39 percent since last week, mainly due to his immigration policies.
