Brittany Mahomes‘ back has finally started healing. The former soccer star first informed about her pelvic floor injury in March 2024. This happened after a year of giving birth to her second child, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III. Now, Mahomes has finally shared a super postive update on her recovery process.

Brittany Mahomes’s fitness trainer, Kirsty Rae, has shared a recovery update of the former’s back injury on her Instagram stories. She shared a video of Kansas City Current’s founding co-owner in the gym performing a barbell back squat (via Page Six).
The barbell appears to be around 70 pounds, and Mahomes is seen lifting it, highlighting her progress. Rae wrote on the clip, “A year and a half ago, rehabbing a broken back meant severe pain and limited movement.”
She further added, “Now, almost a year postpartum and progressively getting stronger every week.” She continued, “Proof that the body is capable of incredible things when you meet it with patience and intentional training,” Rae concluded by praising Mahomes, writing, “So proud of you @brittanylynne.” Mahomes reposted this clip on her stories.
In May 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s wife revelead how her recovery process was progressing. She told E! News, “I’m doing great. I’m living my best life. My back is no longer broken, so that’s good.”
She continued, “I’m finally fully recovered and back to doing the things that I’ve always been able to do. I’m staying on top of my health.” She also explained how it is “super important” for her to be “active and healthy for my kids and my dogs.”
Mahomes stated, “We live on a lot of land, so we like to let our dogs free roam a lot.” She said that “we like to have this GPS tracking on them at all times so we know where they are.” In addition, “we can set up boundaries if we need to, and we’re always keeping an eye on our dogs.”
She shared how she would be “devastated” if anything happens to her canines. Mahomes mentioned keeping the pooches healthy, safe, happy, and tracking “them all the time is very important for our family.”
