Jake Paul Predicts He’ll Knock Out Anthony Joshua in Fourth Round

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has predicted that he will knock out former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in the fourth round of their fight. Paul repeatedly referenced the story of David and Goliath when speaking about the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight. He claimed that he will pull off “the biggest upset in sports history.”

Jake Paul predicts Anthony Joshua fight outcome

Jake Paul has vowed to take down Anthony Joshua, a far more experienced boxer with a brilliant track record. The Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua takes place on Friday, December 19, 2025. The YouTuber-turned-boxer is rather new to this world, but has fared well so far. But he has not faced anyone as good as Anthony Joshua yet.

“I’ve studied David and Goliath going into this fight,” Paul said about their fight to ESPN, referencing the biblical story of a young boy defeating a giant with nothing but a sling and stones. He continued, “There’s a split-second moment where Goliath draws back his arrow, and that’s when David can hit him. I believe the same thing will happen here. There’s going to be a moment when Joshua is exposed, and I know I have the power to be able to beat him.”

Odds on DraftKings Sportsbook have Paul at +650 underdog to defeat Joshua, which is a huge margin. Paul also claimed that his jab was his strongest attack, despite his preferred right-hand usage in his earlier matches. “You’ll definitely see a lot more skill in my boxing, but I don’t think I’m going to have the highest punch output for this fight,” he added. “I think I end up knocking him out in the fourth or fifth round,” Paul said.

If Jake Paul wins, it will indeed be one of the biggest upsets in the history of the sport. He added that he did not know what was ahead for him if he managed to leave with the win.

“I’m not totally sure where I would go from here,” Paul further said, “The only thing left to do is become a world champion, but I really don’t know. I think my next career move after this has to be something to do with helping and inspiring the world. This fight is one way to do it, but maybe I get into politics. Imagine Jake Paul entering a space like that. It’s going to be more people talking s*** there for sure.”

Meanwhile, Joshua has also issued a warning to Jake Paul, asking fans to pray for him.
