Kit Harington has this to say about playing Jon Snow again

During a recent interview with Variety, Kit Harrington revealed whether he would be willing to play his Game of Thrones character, Jon Snow, again. The interviewer asked Harrington whether he would return to the role if there were a Game of Thrones audiobook. Harrington simply said, “No, god no. I don’t wanna go anywhere near it. I spent 10 years doing that. Thanks, I’m alright.”

Harrington rose to fame after playing Jon Snow in the Game of Thrones series from HBO, from the first season in 2011, until Season 8, which aired in 2019. His performance as the honorable Stark made him stand out as one of the most iconic figures in modern television fantasy. During the interview, he also spoke of his role as Lockhart in the Harry Potter audiobook. When asked if he ever auditioned for any of the Harry Potter movies in the past, The Beast Within star said, “No, I was a bit too old. I think Daniel Radcliffe is a few years younger than me. I would have done them, had those auditions come up.”

He also opened up about having trouble pronouncing Wizarding World spells. “The pixie spell. Pesky pixie…’Peskipiksi Pesternomi.’ It’s the one where he releases the Cornish pixies. That was tricky,” he shared. The Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets audiobook is now available on Audible. The voice cast also includes Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall, and Cush Jumbo as narrator.
