Kit Harrington shared a few details about his upcoming film The Dreadful, with Game of Thrones co-star Sophie Turner, during an interview with E! News. When asked about what it was like to reunite with Turner for their upcoming film, Harrington shared how their friendship completely reignited when they got on set together. “It felt like being with family,” he said.
Furthermore, he mentioned, “She was the one that sent that movie to me,” explaining how Turner didn’t see what he saw in it. Then, with a slight chuckle, he shared how he felt very odd about them being lovers, while also mentioning that it was a good chance for them to work together again. “It was slightly embarrassing, having to get on an apple box to kiss her,” Harrington further added, mentioning Turner being about a foot taller than him. “But other than that, my dignity was pretty intact,” he remarked.
Directed by Natasha Kermani, The Dreadful is an upcoming British gothic horror film starring Sophie Turner as Anne and Kit Harrington as Jago. The plot revolves around Anne and her mother-in-law, who lead a difficult life that takes a turn when a man from their past returns. Further in the interview, when asked whether he would be okay with his kids watching Game of Thrones when they grow up, Harrington said, “Oh, I’m fine with them watching Game of Thrones. I just don’t think they will.” He mentioned how he can’t think of anything sadder than sitting his kids down and asking them to watch his films or shows.
