Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence revealed she is considering getting a boob job following the birth of her second child, sharing that while her body “bounced back” after her first pregnancy, the second one was a different story entirely.
Jennifer Lawrence comments on getting boob job
Lawrence said she’s considering undergoing a breast enhancement surgery in November after realizing that her body didn’t “bounce back” post the second pregnancy the same way it did following her first. “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” Lawrence told The New Yorker, referring to her pregnancy with the first child, Cy. “Second one, nothing bounced back,” she added.
The Hunger Games star, who welcomed her second baby with husband Cooke Maroney earlier this year, said that her decision isn’t driven by Hollywood pressure alone. She admitted that even if she weren’t a celebrity, she’d still be thinking about getting the surgery. “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way,” she joked, adding, “But I think yes.”
Lawrence also discussed her approach to cosmetic treatments, admitting she’s experimented with Botox but is cautious not to lose her expressive face. Adding that she avoids fillers because they would be visible on camera, still, the actress isn’t ruling out more procedures in the future. “But, believe me, I’m gonna!” she quipped about potentially getting a facelift someday.
In reference to the catalyst for a boob job, Jennifer Lawrence has been vocal about the emotional changes that come with motherhood. At the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, she discussed how her new film Die My Love mirrors parts of her own experience with postpartum challenges. “I had just had my firstborn, and there’s not really anything like postpartum,” she said, describing it as “extremely isolating.” (via Page Six)
Filming opposite Robert Pattinson while five months pregnant, Lawrence said motherhood completely reshaped her emotional world and approach to acting. “They’ve changed my life, obviously, for the best, and they’ve changed me creatively.” And now fans will be able to see it in theaters on November 7, 2025.
