Footballer Jorginho’s wife, Catherine Harding, slammed musician Chappell Roan after her daughter, Ada, was left in tears following an altercation with Roan’s security guard. Harding shares Ada with veteran Hollywood star Jude Law. Jorginho also called out Roan for the way the security guard confronted his wife and stepdaughter.

Chappell Roan’s security reportedly confronted Catherine Harding and her daughter, Ada, at a hotel in São Paulo, Brazil. She shares Ada with Jude Law. This was after Ada reportedly spotted the pop star in the breakfast area.
Soon after this, Roan started garnering heat for the event. She took to her Instagram to claim that the security guard was not part of her personal security. She added that Ada and Harding never approached her.
Harding has now responded to the claims, saying that the security guard who talked to her was not a part of the hotel staff. “Did she send him to do it? Again, I don’t know,” Harding said (via Page Six), “Look, I would like to hope not, but at the same time, I think that you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity to make sure, I guess, that the people who work for you and act on your behalf are acting on your behalf.”
She continued, “So would he do that if he didn’t have that authority to do so? I don’t know…If he does then obviously that’s a big problem because then he’s representing her in a way she doesn’t want to be represented.”
Recalling the incident, Harding revealed that Ada did not have a phone. She said that she did not attempt to take a picture or initiate a conversation. Moreover, she was simply excited seeing Roan, whom she greatly admired. “She literally did not do anything, she just looked at her…she came back and said ‘Mum I don’t know if it’s her.’ Because obviously she looked like…her costumes and everything…she looks a little bit different,” she added.
Harding recounted that they continued to have their breakfast, but a security guard with a “very aggressive tone” confronted them. Harding claimed that the security guard told her that she should teach her daughter to be better and to respect people’s privacy. The altercation left Ada in tears. This was despite Harding’s attempt to explain that she was just a kid who got excited seeing a celebrity.
Harding had tickets to Roan’s show as a birthday present for Ada, but the pair ended up skipping the show.
