However, Curtis isn’t done with menu updates. Fresh from the “burger battle” with McDonald’s CEO, chicken nuggets are next on his agenda.
In a recent Instagram video, Tom Curtis stated that customer feedback on Burger King’s chicken nuggets had been unsatisfactory. Many complained they weren’t always fresh, often soggy, and didn’t match the ’90s taste. Amy Alarcon, Burger King’s Vice President of Culinary Innovation, echoed the sentiment, noting that as a lifelong nugget fan, she believes they “have a lot of opportunity for improvement.”
Responding to the feedback, the fast-food chain has shared that they’re “working on leveling them up.” However, the company is yet to share a timeline for the revamped nuggets.
