A lip reader claims that Travis Kelce and Kai Trump discussed the NFL player’s fiancée during their recent conversation. Kelce and Trump were spotted chatting while attending a TGL match between The Bay Golf Club and Jupiter Links GC at SoFi Center on Tuesday, March 3. Notably, Kai Trump is President Donald Trump’s granddaughter and an avid golfer herself.
Travis Kelce talked about Taylor Swift with Kai Trump, says lip reader
A lip reader reportedly reveals that Kai Trump lavished praise on Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, during their recent interaction. The Mirror U.S. reported that Kai had only good things to say about Swift during their conversation.
The 18-year-old said while adjusting her necklace, “Oh, I love that and everything Taylor sings. She’s really good.” Unfortunately, the lip reader couldn’t capture Kelce’s reaction as his mouth was only partially facing the camera. A few moments later, Kai nodded to something Kelce said before adding, “Yeah, hundred percent.”
Although the conversation was brief, the duo appeared polite despite President Trump’s dislike of Kelce and Swift. Trump has previously criticized the “Daylight” crooner after she publicly endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. He tweeted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” He added in another tweet, “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?'”
Not only that, Trump hasn’t spared the NFL star either. He mocked Kelce’s 2025 Super Bowl loss when the Philadelphia Eagles visited the White House after their win. The POTUS said at the time, “I was there along with Taylor Swift.” He asked in a condescending tone, “How did that work out? (via PEOPLE).”
Kelce and his brother Jason later met legendary golfer Tiger Woods. Kai was first spotted at the TGL events in 2025 shortly before her mother, Vanessa, and Woods made their relationship public (via Fox News).
Meanwhile, Travis Kelce is navigating his career amid intense speculation surrounding his NFL future, with media reports hinting at potential retirement. However, the 36-year-old has expressed his desire to continue playing for the Chiefs.
