Many Batman fans want to see actor Paul Anthony Kelly as Bruce Wayne in the new DCU. Kelly recently appeared in the new series Love Story, and played the role of JFK Jr. Kelly is not the first actor to be fan-cast as Batman for the new DCU. Other fan favorite choices for the role include Brandon Sklenar and Alan Ritchson, among others.

Paul Anthony Kelly, who is gaining notoriety for his portrayal of JFK Jr. in the FX series Love Story, is the latest choice of many Batman fans to play the character in James Gunn’s DCU.
Fans went on to discuss how Kelly could make the perfect Caped Crusader for Gunn’s The Brave and the Bold.
An X (formerly Twitter) user shared Kelly’s interview with Entertainment Tonight and wrote, “if this guy was cast as batman, they’d draw batman to look just like him after. damn..”
Another X user shared a video comparison between Kelly’s clips from Love Story and Batman’s shots from the comics. The user stated, “i fall for paul kelly as bruce wayne propaganda.”
Moreover, critic Grace Randolph praised Love Story director Ryan Murphy for casting Kelly and asked, “How does Ryan Murphy keep finding these guys?! Paul Anthony Kelly: Batman candidate, perhaps…?” Additionally, Randolph stated in another tweet, “He is TOTALLY Bruce Wayne.”
X user @blurayangel called Love Story Kelly’s audition for Batman and added, “#NowWatching Paul Kelly’s audition for Batman…I mean LOVE STORY Season 1 LoveStory.”
User Lukasz Stanek wrote in a reply to one of Randolph’s posts, “Looks good. Bruce Wayne need to have this old money vibe.”
Another user compared Kelly to Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne from director Matt Reeves’ movie and added, “Oh, I think we all know how he finds them. But yes, this dude could be the next Batman. He looks more like Bruce Wayne than RP for sure.”
Despite the multiple fan castings, currently, there is no update on who will play Batman in The Brave and the Bold.
