Robert Pattinson’s fans are rallying for the actor to be cast as the iconic Leon Kennedy in Zack Cregger’s live-action adaptation of Resident Evil. Cregger, best known for directing the horror films Weapons and Barbarian, is bringing the hugely popular survival horror video game franchise to the silver screen. It now seems that fans have their own take on the casting of the character.

Fans are rooting for Robert Pattinson to be cast as Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil‘s live-action adaptation. Kennedy is one of the main characters of Resident Evil. He is Italian-American and is tall and lean in build. He is a highly skilled U.S. government agent who fights zombies with ease.

Pattinson is currently promoting his upcoming A24 movie titled The Drama alongside Zendaya. The actors graced the cover story for Interview Magazine. Interestingly, one of Pattinson’s looks is going viral for its striking resemblance to Resident Evil icon Leon Kennedy.

In the photo, Pattinson is wearing a tight-fitting olive green leather top with matching leather pants in a slightly darker shade. He dons short gloves, giving an interesting expression to the camera. According to fans, his comma hairstyle and chiseled cheekbones bear a resemblance to Kennedy’s. Fans cannot get over the Twilight star’s look and are hoping Cregger considers him for the live-action adaptation of Resident Evil.
