Fans react to hints of Leon’s fate in RE9 trailer
Fans have warned the makers of RE9 not to mess around with Leon after watching the new trailer. Resident Evil Requiem will be the ninth main game in the horror survival series and is scheduled to be released on February 27. Naturally, fans are excited; however, avid gamers are now concerned for Leon’s fate in the game.
There is a moment in the trailer when the camera focuses on Leon’s infected palm. It is a brief moment, but many fans have fixated on it as it may suggest that Leon is running out of time to cure himself. One fan commented, “Dear Capcom Europe, Don’t. Don’t you dare. Do not. Don’t. Thanks.”
Another fan wrote, “Wait… INFECTED?! Capcom really woke up and chose violence today.” A third fan commented, “Leon infected? That changes everything. Tense.” A fourth fan chimed in, “I just know he is going to suffer beautifully and still save everyone at the last second.
