Piper Rockelle, who was already a renowned figure online before she turned 18, joined OnlyFans on January 1, 2026. On her debut day, she claimed to have earned nearly $3 million, drawing criticism from many fans, who pointed out that she was allegedly faking the number.
Rockelle’s grandmother, Donna Healy Smith, opened up about Rockelle joining OnlyFans in a new episode of IMPACT x Nightline. “I just think it’s, like, the next thing,” she said (via PEOPLE), “I mean, you can’t be 18 and, like, doing pranks on people and dancing on TikTok forever.”
After Rockelle joined the adult platform, many criticized her because she primarily had a fanbase full of young girls. Many netizens argued that Rockelle could be promoting adult content to young girls. The former YouTube star addressed this in a Rolling Stone interview in January. “I understand that it might be hard for some people to see someone who they’ve grown up with have so many different weird little lifestyles that they’ve had,” she had said, “But I’m not going to be a kid forever.”
Piper also previously revealed that she bought a car for her grandmother.
Smith added about this in the episode, “I’m not going to fight with her,…I’m very proud of the decision she made.” She added, “It is a lot of money, and I’m happy for her. She deserves it. And she’s not doing anything terribly wrong.”
