Bad Bunny Breaks New Record Ahead of Super Bowl 2026

Just weeks before his performance at the 2026 Super Bowl halftime, 31-year-old rapper and singer Bad Bunny already seems to have set the ball rolling by securing a unique record under his name. Referred to as the ‘King of Latin Trap’ by his fans, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio recently released a promo video to tease his upcoming act but ended up creating social media history.

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl teaser breaks Instagram record

On January 16, the fan-favorite artist took to Instagram to share a promotional teaser for his Super Bowl LX halftime show. The clip has since gone viral on the internet, reportedly becoming the most-liked promotional video for the Super Bowl halftime show on the social media platform.

A Bad Bunny fan posted the update, all the while sharing their excitement over the singer’s feat, on Threads by writing, “Good morning to everyone blasting Bad Bunny this morning. Celebrating the fact that he broke another record last night, now the most-liked Super Bowl Halftime promo EVER. A friendly reminder that the beauty of diversity is what actually makes this country great. May your coffee stay warm AND the Boricua Rythmn takes over you today” (via Daily Express US).

Another Bad Bunny enthusiast provided statistical insight into the Puerto Rican singer’s record in an Instagram update, stating, “Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl teaser (3M) surpassed the likes on Rihanna teaser (2.9M) on Instagram, becoming the most-liked promotional video for the Super Bowl Halftime Show.”

The Super Bowl promo features Bad Bunny walking out to a barren land with a few scrubs and a picturesque red tree. The singer suddenly turns the mood of the video upside down by playing his ‘BAILE INoLVIDABLE’ song on his phone. As the music begins, a host of individuals of varying genders, ethnicities, and demographics start appearing in a bid to dance with the three-time Grammy winner.

Bad Bunny will finally take the stage for his 2026 Super Bowl halftime show on February 8, 2026.
