Saturday Night Live (aka SNL) writer Jimmy Fowlie’s sister, Christina Lynn Downer, has gone missing for the past few days. The actor-writer has been sharing back-to-back appeals on his social media account to support his pursuit. Moreover, multiple colleagues in the industry have now joined him in this plea.

Six days ago, SNL writer Jimmy Fowlie first shared on Instagram that his sister had gone missing. Sharing the Los Angeles Police Department’s report, Fowlie wrote, “my sister has been missing and we are worried that she isn’t safe.” He added, “Her married name is Downer but she may go by Christina Fowlie. Please share this so that if anyone has seen her, they can give any information to the police.” He concluded, “The phone number is 213 996 1800, and her case number is 25237639. she was last seen in LA. thank you.”
This was followed by a string of posts with additional details about Fowlie’s missing sibling. As such, industry professionals began spreading the word, including John Stamos and Lucy Hale. Stamos added the post in his stories writing, “Please print and distribute this flyer.” Meanwhile, Nico Santos stated, “My friend’s sister is missing, and they could use our help right now.”
Furthermore, Leslie-Anne Huff Panaligan said, “Sending you and Christina all my love and support. May she be found safe and healthy asap.” Additionally, she wrote, “My friend is still looking for his sister.” Meanwhile, SNL star Kenan Thompson exclaimed, “I’m so sorry to hear this, Jimmy!!!.”
In his latest post, Jimmy Fowlie mentioned how there has been no update in the case. He stated, “My sister is still missing. This is not like her, she’s never gone off the grid like this. Me and my friends have been posting her flyer around Koreatown.”
The 40-year-old also requested, “If you are in LA and want to join us tomorrow at noon, shoot an email to [email protected].” Moreover, Fowlie said people can print a few copies to post them in their LA neighborhood, and those not living in LA can share her picture.
