Taylor Swift’s Grueling Workout Routine Is No Joke

Taylor Swift reveals her hectic schedule while prepping for the Eras tour in her docu-series The End of an Era. Swift’s record-breaking tour spans 149 shows in 51 cities across five continents. Unsurprisingly, her gruelling workout regime has to match the vigorous demands of the mega tour.

Taylor Swift’s intense workout routine revealed

Taylor Swift shared her rigorous workout routine with fans in the latest episode of her docu-series The End of an Era. The cameras documented her intense workout in her NYC gym, where she worked out under the guidance of her trainer, Kirk Myers.

Swift tackled battle ropes, huffing and puffing through the session as she worked her way through it. Next, Myers made her do some pulls, which the popstar was disgruntled about. Swift replied in an annoyed tone, “In no way do I ever apply this to any point in the show,” before adding, “Strong dislike, two thumbs down.”

Swift even threw a giant weighted ball and hit a mat with some sort of sledgehammer. The “Opalite” crooner joked that her strength and endurance come from all the pent-up rage and resentment she has towards working out. However, her tone softened, and she admitted that it was necessary to perform three-hour-long concerts with continued energy and enthusiasm.

The Grammy winner shared, “There are a lot of things that we pulled off on this tour that I’ve never even attempted on past tours. I think the longest show I ever did before was two hours and fifteen minutes. I never would have believed you if you told me we would be doing a three-and-a-half-hour show.”

The global pop icon confessed she has “never” worked out so much in her life before, and it’s “horrible.” Swift also shared how she went the extra mile to prepare herself physically and emotionally for the Eras tour. She recalled that six months before her first Eras concert, she would run on the treadmill, singing her own songs.

She would pace herself according to the tempo of the song and sing loudly to be able to run around the stage during concerts (via Cosmopolitan).
