Taylor Swift fans are demanding that the pop star feature in Fortnite with skins representing every one of her eras. For those unaware, Fortnite skins are different avatars that change the appearance of a player’s character. Notably, this has no impact on the character’s gameplay or their abilities. It is meant as a visual treat for fans.
Fans rally for Taylor Swift and Fortnite to collab
Taylor Swift fans want her and Fortnite to collaborate in recreating her different looks from her Eras tour. Several high-profile pop stars and singers have collaborated with the popular online video game in the past – Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Eminem, and BLACKPINK’s Lisa, among others. Swifties have taken over X and want Fortnite to add her as a playable skin.
One Swiftie declared, “We need a style for every one of her eras.” A second fan commented, “I would actually really like to see her blue and orange/red costumes from The Fate of Ophelia music video.” Fans started chiming in with their outfit suggestions as a playable skin. A third fan shared, “1- rep era outfit 2- lover bodysuit with optional the man jacket 3- midnight bodysuit with customizable karma jacket. ” The fan added, “Would buy all or any Taylor skin.”
A fourth fan wrote, “Hear me out, I freaking NEED the Lavender Haze Taylor (all variants, obviously), plus the 1989 outfit in every color combination, omg.” Swiftie remarked, “Midnights bodysuit Eras version is the only one I want to see.”
From corsets to bodysuits and solid colors to pops of shimmer, Swift has rocked every possible outfit and its variants throughout the entirety of the Eras tour. Fans believe that Fortnite can turn all Eras Tour outfits into perfect skins.
Interestingly, Disney, one of the investors in Epic Games (Fortnite’s parent company), is featuring a documentary on Swift’s Eras tour. Disney+ premiered the six-part docu-series The End of an Era on December 12, a day before her birthday.
