The show is set to join CBS Media Ventures’ revamped fall 2026 lineup alongside The Drew Barrymore Show, Inside Edition, Hot Bench, Flip Side, and The Perfect Line. “From a bold new take on the courtroom, to one of television’s most beloved family franchises and an adrenaline-charged weekend destination, these series are built to engage, entertain, and deliver for our partners,“ said John Budkins from CBS.
Judge Judy is a classic American courtroom reality show that debuted in 1996. It ran for 25 seasons until 2021, cementing its place as one of TV’s longest-running and most-watched syndicated programs.
The show starred Judge Judith Sheindlin, a no-nonsense former family court judge, handling small-claims cases with her sharp wit and stern demeanor. The series earned top daytime ratings and secured multiple awards. It also bagged a Daytime Emmy, turning Judy Sheindlin into a bona fide TV icon.
