Netflix Spoils Its Biggest Shows Ahead of 2026

In preparation for its 2026 slate, Netflix has released a new video that spoils the ending of many of the films and TV shows released in 2025. This year has seen the release of new seasons of multiple high-profile titles that span genres and content formats. Squid Game Season 3, Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3, Wednesday Season 2, Happy Gilmore 2, and KPop Demon Hunters are some of the films and TV shows that hit the streaming service this year.

Netflix spoiled its 2025 shows with new video

The streaming giant recently dropped a short video on its social media channels that clocks in at 1 minute. The video issues a spoiler warning to viewers before spoiling the endings of major films, television shows, and reality series released on Netflix in 2025 with only a few words.

“SPOILER ALERT: To make room for 2026, we’re spoiling 2025. We’re not messing around. You’ve been warned…,” the clip’s caption on X (formerly Twitter) read.

For Squid Game Season 3, the video said, “Player 456 Dies. Baby Wins.” Meanwhile, for Wednesday Season 2, the clip shared, “Aunt Ophelia is Alive.” Further, for KPop Demon Hunters, the video declared, “The Honmoon Is Closed.”

Additionally, the clip revealed spoilers for fan-favorite titles like You Season 5, Monster: The Ed Gein Story, Adolescence, Zero Day, and many more.

However, the video came to an abrupt end before it could spoil the ending of Stranger Things Season 5. It is awaiting the release of its second part and finale — scheduled for December 25 and December 31, 2025, respectively. The clip said “They All…” before cutting to a black screen and a message that asks, “What Next?”

Meanwhile, Netflix recently also revealed its list of standout performances from its 2025 movies and television shows. Notably, out of the names mentioned, Owen Cooper scored a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role in Adolescence at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards.
