As Apple TV viewers await the return of Silo, actor Steve Zahn has shared new details about the progress and scope of the series’ upcoming installments. The actor says work on both Season 3 and Season 4 is actively progressing behind the scenes.
Speaking during the press tour for Anaconda, Zahn confirmed that he is actively involved in both Seasons 3 and 4 of Silo. In an interview with Collider, the actor said that production on Season 3 is nearing completion and that he has been involved in recent filming. “Yes. We’re almost done. I’m almost done. I flew here yesterday,” he said.
Without revealing the release date, Zahn explained that Season 3 is currently in post-production. He noted that the process is taking time due to the show’s visual effects. The actor said, “Season 3 is still in post. It’s coming out. I don’t know when. It’s a complicated show. There’s a lot going on as far as visual effects.” Apple TV has not yet announced an official premiere date for the season.
As Season 3 continues through post-production, Zahn revealed that filming on Season 4 is already underway. He described the season 4 as significantly larger in scale. The actor said, “We’re in [Season] 4 right now. We’re in the middle of 4, and it’s the biggest show. There’s so much going on. Season 4 is really cool. There’s a lot in 4. It spreads out all over. It gets really cool. There’s a lot of action.”
Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available to stream on Apple TV, as anticipation builds for the next season.
