Fans and fellow actors quickly sent congratulatory notes after the Instagram post. The news comes while she promotes the Ready or Not sequel. It marks a new chapter for Weaving and Warden as they prepare for parenthood.
A friend wrote, “Sexiest pregnant lady ever.” Sarah Hyland added, “BABEEEEEE ????” A fan said, “Whaaaaattttt? Congrats Sam… so happy for you guys.” Meanwhile, another wrote, “SAMARA!!!! Congratulations mama!!! (pink heart emoji).”
The actress and Jimmy Warden have worked together professionally and spoke about balancing work and family life. Weaving explained one rule they try to follow when projects take them apart.
The 33-year-old said, “When I’m away or if Jimmy’s away shooting, we try not to go two and a half or three weeks [without seeing each other].” Warden added, “And then we get weird,” describing why they keep visits frequent (via People).
The couple also said they did not hold a traditional wedding celebration due to the pandemic. Weaving said, “We never actually had a wedding.” Warden recalled, “We got married, but then COVID hit, so we had to cancel the wedding.” He later joked that making a film served as their celebration. He said, “Well, we made the movie instead. I guess we had our wedding, and it’s in the movie.”
