Sinners star Wunmi Mosaku announced her second pregnancy at the 2026 Golden Globes Red Carpet Pre-Show. The actress confessed that she was thrilled to reveal her secret finally.
“It’s a relief. I’m not gonna lie”, Mosaku told Variety’s Angelique Jackson. “Hiding pregnancy is really, really hard, and just being able to be really present in the moment, and accepting myself exactly how I am in the moment is really a relief. It’s a beautiful thing,” the actress added.
Wunmi Mosaku graced the red carpet in a stunning Matthew Reisman gown, symbolizing the Yoruba phrase “Iya ni Wúrà”, meaning “mother is golden”. The Loki actress recently acknowledged the challenges of being a Black mother in a heartfelt essay for Vogue. Mosaku also revealed she’s launching a clothing line for mothers. Her brand, Iyadé, meaning “mother has arrived” in Yoruba, is inspired by her own experiences with motherhood.
The essay also witnesses Wunmi Mosaku expressing her gratitude for the success of Sinners. The horror/action film has earned seven Golden Globe nominations, including Best Director – Motion Picture for Ryan Coogler and Best Picture – Drama.
