Donald Trump Backs Susie Wiles, Embraces ‘Alcoholic’s Personality’

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles revealed that Donald Trump has an “alcoholic’s personality” and made other not-so-flattering comments in an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair. Wiles reportedly confessed to Vanity Fair that Trump’s name is in “the Epstein file.” Now, President Trump has come out in Wiles’ support and has also embraced his alcoholic personality.

President Donald Trump backs Susie Wiles’ unflattering comments on him in an exclusive interview with The New York Post. He clarified that Wiles’s comments did not offend him and reiterated that he has confidence in her abilities.

Trump remarked, “No, she meant that I’m, you see, I don’t drink alcohol. So everybody knows that, but I’ve often said that if I did, I’d have a very good chance of being an alcoholic. I have said that many times about myself, I do. It’s a very possessive personality.” Trump abstains from alcohol, reportedly due to his older brother Fred’s alcohol-induced heart attack at 42.

Trump clarified yet again, “I’ve said that many times about myself. I’m fortunate I’m not a drinker. If I did, I could very well, because I’ve said that, what’s the word? Not possessive, possessive and addictive type personality. Oh, I’ve said it many times, many times before.”

Wiles is the daughter of legendary NFL player and broadcaster Pat Summerall, who also struggled with alcohol addiction in public. Wiles told Vanity Fair’s Chris Whipple, “High-functioning alcoholics or alcoholics in general, their personalities are exaggerated when they drink. So I’m a little bit of an expert in big personalities.”

Furthermore, Wiles claimed that President Trump has an “alcoholic personality” and operates with the view that “there’s nothing he can’t do. Nothing, zero, nothing.” Moreover, Trump revealed, “I didn’t read it, but I don’t read Vanity Fair, but she’s done a fantastic job.” Trump also accused Vanity Fair’s Whipple of misguiding Wiles into making such a strong statement. Trump stated, “I think from what I hear, the facts were wrong, and it was a very misguided interviewer, purposely misguided.”

He also lavished praise on Wiles, calling her “fantastic,” and reiterated that Whipple had “deceived” her. Trump said, “Yeah, deceived and he didn’t have great access, a couple of very short interviews. Susie generally doesn’t do interviews. If anybody knows the interviewer, and if they know Vanity Fair, Vanity Fair is totally — it’s lost its way. It’s also lost its readers, as you know. No, she’s fantastic.”
