However, after she stepped back from politics, her space has been left vacant. Now it seems Donald has found a new favorite family member who is very much like him.
Sources told Rob Shutter’s #ShuterScoop that the politician is now completely smitten by his granddaughter, Kai Trump. She is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump. As per the family insider, the 79-year-old businessman “lights up when she’s around” and is taken by her charisma. Kai “reminds him of himself at that age — confident, strong-willed, and unafraid to speak her mind. He brags about her constantly,” added the source.
Looking at how headstrong his granddaughter is, Donald “sees her as the next big Trump.” And like every doting grandfather who thinks of the future of their grandchildren, the president, “talks about her future in business — maybe even politics,” added another source.
However, the insider revealed that his fondness for Kai is not sitting well with Ivanka. Since “Ivanka was always untouchable” due to the new favorite family member, the second child of Donald “is being edged out. Trump is fickle, and Kai has his full attention.”
Meanwhile, on a personal front, Kai has recently started her senior year and announced her “verbal commitment” to play golf at the University of Miami on Instagram while thanking her family, friends, and coaches for supporting her.
