Aiden Ross from Team Niall is the winner of The Voice Season 28.
A day before the winner was announced, all six finalists competed in two rounds, performing two different types of music for America’s vote. One round focused on contemporary music, while the other featured a classic song. In the first round, Ross performed “Golden Hour” by JVKE, while in the second, he chose “The Winner Takes It All” by ABBA. With America’s votes all in, Ross was declared the winner of this season, taking home a $100,000 cash prize and a Universal Music Group recording contract.

- Third Place – DEK of Hearts (Team Niall)
- Fourth Place – Aubrey Nicole (Team Reba)

Before the crowning ceremony, Horan shared a few kind words about his team’s winner, Ross. He said, “You’re a really down-to-earth, lovely guy who’s gifted. I wish you the best, bud.”
Previously in the show, Ross also thanked Horan for having faith in him and his talent. He added that he has learned a lot from him, saying, “The most important thing he’s taught me is to love what I’m doing and be glad that I’m doing it. Love you, man” (via PEOPLE).
