The Traitors ended its fourth season with a dramatic finale on Peacock, concluding weeks of deception and strategy. As contestants cast their final votes and alliances unraveled, the competition series revealed who won the prize money.
The Traitors crowns Season 4 winner
The fourth season of The Traitors concluded with Rob Rausch winning the Peacock competition series and taking home the $220,800 cash prize.
Rausch, who entered the finale as the last remaining original Traitor, outlasted fellow Traitor Eric Nam and Faithfuls Maura Higgins, Tara Lipinski, Johnny Weir, and Mark Ballas. The finale determined whether any Traitors would remain to claim the full prize.
Alan Cumming hosts the series, which is based on the Dutch format De Verraders. The show follows Faithful contestants as they work to identify and banish Traitors before the Traitors murder or eliminate them.
If any Traitors reach the end, they claim the entire prize, but if the Faithful eliminate all Traitors, they split the money. In the final episode, the Traitors murdered Mark Ballas, leaving five contestants to compete at the last roundtable and Fire of Truth.
At the final roundtable, Eric voted for Johnny, Johnny voted for Eric, Rob voted for Johnny, Tara voted for Eric, and Maura voted for Johnny. The group banished Johnny Weir, a Faithful. During the first Fire of Truth vote, Eric, Rob, and Maura voted to banish Tara Lipinski, while Tara voted for Eric, and the vote eliminated Tara from the game.
In the second Fire of Truth vote, Eric voted to banish Rob, while Rob and Maura voted to banish Eric. With Eric eliminated, only Rob and Maura remained. Rob then revealed his identity, telling Maura, “I’m so sorry, I’m a Traitor. I’m serious. The whole game I’ve been a Traitor.” Maura responded, “I was so fooled by you. You absolute a**hole. You pinky-promised!”
Rob was crowned the sole winner of Season 4.
