Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly set to miss the royal family’s Christmas celebrations for the seventh year in a row. Recently, there were hints that a reconciliation between King Charles and Harry might be possible.
However, Tom Bower, a well-known journalist and royal biographer, believes that even though Harry recently met his father in hopes of winning back his approval and being welcomed by the family, there is absolutely “no way back” for him. This suggests that Christmas will once again be an “isolated” one for the Sussexes.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have ‘no way back’ to Royal Family — expert
Preparations for Christmas are in full swing at the royal house. Amid this, Express reported that royal biographer, Tom Bower, believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be left “isolated” during the festivities.
As per Bower, Harry had a meeting with his father, hoping that “he could ingratiate himself back into the family.” “But it isn’t going to work, there is just no way back for him,” Bower continued. This news comes after Harry reportedly had a 54-minute meeting with his father recently.
Speaking about the Duchess of Sussex, Bower added that she has not reconciled with her own family as well. Moreover, she does not have any plans to “come back to Britain.” According to him, “her relationships with both families act against Harry’s own instinctive interests.” This has resulted in them being at a “very isolated place at Christmas.”
The last time Harry and Meghan spent the holidays with the royal family was in 2018. Two years later, they stepped down as senior royals and moved to Montecito to rebuild their lives. This will mark the seventh year that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not take part in the royal Christmas celebrations.
