Nancy Sinatra, Frank Sinatra’s eldest daughter and a star in her own right, recently hit out at a fan who assumed that the legendary “My Way” singer would have loved US President Donald Trump. Nancy made it abundantly clear that not only would Frank not love Trump, but he “loathed” Trump and would hate his policies if he were alive.
Frank Sinatra’s daughter talks about Donald Trump
Nancy Sinatra has been quite vocal in her opposition to the current US President, Donald Trump. While Nancy has often made her disdain for the President clear, this time, she posted about how her father felt about Trump.
Her post came after one user on X (formerly known as Twitter) told her, “Your Dad would have loved Trump.” Nancy had a fierce reply to this. Sharing the post, the “Speedway” star wrote, “Do some homework before you make a fool of yourself. My dad LOATHED trump.” She had previously written on her X account, “This is not my father’s America. He would be devastated. trump is so wrong in so may ways.”
Frank Sinatra reportedly had a run-in in the past that ended with Sinatra telling Trump to “go f*** himself.” This was during an Atlantic City casino concert, where Trump thought Sinatra’s fee was too high. Frank ended up performing at the Sands in Las Vegas instead. (via The Independent)
However, during his life, Frank Sinatra was not a strict liberal. Rather, he switched sides in different elections, but was a strong advocate of progressive causes like civil rights and racial equality.
Nancy Sinatra remains a vocal critic of the current government. She has continued to express outrage on the social media platform X, where she is very active.
Nancy Sinatra also remains a cultural icon, with her brilliant discography and filmography.
