Paul Walker’s Daughter Pays Tribute To Fast & Furious Star on Death Anniversary

Paul Walker‘s daughter, Meadow Walker, shared a post remembering the Fast and Furious star 12 years after his sudden death. She marked the anniversary with a quiet and heartfelt picture of the two together. It was taken when she was a toddler. The photo sees them in a candid moment at the kitchen countertop.

On Sunday, Meadow Walker posted three photos to Instagram. They showed a young Paul Walker kneeling before a toddler, Meadow. She is sitting on the counter with a small cake. Captioning the post, Meadow wrote, “12 years without you… I love you forever.”

Paul died in 2013, and this news shocked fans and colleagues worldwide. The actor was riding as a passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT when the driver, Roger Rodas, lost control. This ended up badly when the car was struck against a lamp post in Santa Clarita, California. It then burst into flames. Both men died on the scene.

As for Meadow, she has kept her father’s memory alive in ways both personal and public. She is the child of Walker and his childhood sweetheart, Rebecca Soteros. Meadow has spoken before about the close bond that she shared with her dad.

Even Paul had noted their routine back in 2006, and said, “Every day I pick her up from school, and we go out on a longboard. She’s the best partner I’ve ever had.” (via PEOPLE)

Moreover, after Paul Walker’s death, her daughter has turned her grief into philanthropy. In 2015, she launched a foundation to continue causes that mattered to him. These included ocean conservation and wildlife work.

She also encouraged her followers to donate to charities that Paul had supported. Once in 2021, she wrote on Instagram, “To honor my dad’s legacy, we hope you’ll join us to Do Good.” The foundation also awards an annual scholarship to students pursuing work in related fields.
