DWTS Crowns Season 34 Winner

Dancing with the Stars has finally concluded Season 34, announcing which contestant took home the Mirrorball Trophy. Here’s a breakdown of the final leaderboard, along with all the runner-ups.

Who won Dancing with the Stars Season 34?

Robert Irwin, along with his pro partner Witney Carson, has won Dancing With The Stars Season 34.

The season finale aired on Tuesday, November 25, with Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough as the co-hosts. The glamorous evening ended with Irwin lifting the much-coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy with his partner, Carson.

The winner was decided after combining the final leaderboard scores and the audience votes. Here are the final ranks of the night:

  1. Robert Irwin and Witney Carson
  2. Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy
  3. Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa
  4. Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach
  5. Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten

When an emotional Irwin was asked how it felt to win the DWTS season, the conservationist revealed, “My sister said it best, ‘Thank you for changing my life!’” Carson chimed in as well, saying, “I’m so grateful for Robert.”

The finale was split into three rounds, beginning with the Judges’ Choice. This round saw the judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough share some personalized tips with the contestants before they hit the stage.

The next round was the Instant Dance Challenge, where the couples had to prepare four different dance styles but had to perform the one that was randomly picked just minutes before the show. The final Freestyle round gave the contestants the opportunity to showcase all the tricks up their sleeves without any rules to hold them back.

Robert’s DWTS victory comes a decade after his older sister Bindi took home the Mirrorball Trophy in 2015. She had won Season 21 of the show with her pro partner Derek Hough.
