Brad Pitt Is ‘Done Being Nice Guy’ Amid Angelina Jolie Battle — Source

After years of keeping a low profile during his ongoing legal case with Angelina Jolie, the 61-year-old Brad Pitt is allegedly ready to fight back both in court and in the public eye. As the sources claim, he is “done being the nice guy.”

Sources claim Brad Pitt is done letting Angelina Jolie take control

Brad Pitt is reportedly “done being the nice guy,” according to Shutter Scoop’s report. After years of remaining silent for the sake of his children, the F1 actor is reportedly taking a firmer stance in his long-running lawsuit with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. “This is Brad 2.0,” a source told the outlet. “He’s calm but not backing down. He’s done letting her control the narrative.”

This is in relation to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s ongoing lawsuit about Château Miraval. It is the $35 million French estate and winery they once co-owned. Pitt claims Jolie sold her shares to a Russian-backed company, Tenute del Mondo. It was done without his consent, violating their prior agreement that neither party could sell without the other’s approval. “He’s fighting for his business and his name,” another insider alleged. “He’s been patient — that’s over.”

It reportedly escalated after leaked emails from Jolie surfaced, in which the Maleficent actress allegedly wrote that the dispute had made her “sick with worry.” The leak prompted a reportedly assertive response from Pitt’s camp. “Brad’s tired of being the villain,” a longtime associate said. “He stayed silent for the kids, but enough’s enough.”

In recent court filings, Pitt’s team introduced communications from Jolie’s lawyers discussing the 2021 sale and the ensuing damages claims. One 2023 email from Jolie’s team stated, “The burdensome nature of any production is a matter of Mr. Pitt’s own creation. He is suing Ms. Jolie for $35 million in damages.” The filings also revealed that Jolie’s lawyers accused Pitt of refusing to provide documents relating to a four-year NDA connected to his “personal misconduct,” which they argue is crucial to their countersuit. The next court hearing in the Château Miraval case is scheduled for December 17, where both sides are expected to present additional evidence.
