Upscale grocery chain Erewhon has launched a limited-edition smoothie that offers users a “fresh, just brushed feeling.” Interestingly, the unique smoothie is reminiscent of mint toothpaste. The brand has previously collaborated with Hailey Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter on other special smoothie flavors as well.
California-based store Erewhon releases new toothpaste smoothie
California-based store Erewhon has come up with a peculiar flavored toothpaste smoothie. It has collaborated with oral care brand Boka to launch the Mint Condition Smile Smoothie.
According to Food & Wine, the unique smoothie draws inspiration from the taste and texture of toothpaste and costs $11 for a 12-ounce cup. The toothpaste-inspired smoothie is only available for a limited period. It aims to evoke the “fresh, just brushed feeling” of Boka’s Ela Mint Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste.
Erewhon’s toothpaste-inspired smoothie is a heady mix of a variety of interesting ingredients and flavors. It mixes citrus green tea, coconut milk, fresh mint, mango, and banana with toothpaste-like elements like chlorophyll, blue spirulina, and silica.
Moreover, the toothpaste smoothie features a garnish of cacao nibs and coconut flakes, and includes a dose of caffeine in its tea base. The unique beverage will be available at Erewhon’s 14 outlets in Los Angeles through the end of November.
Meanwhile, popular celebrities like Hailey Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter have previously partnered with the California-based store chain to launch their own smoothies. On June 15, 2022, Erewhon partnered with Bieber to introduce the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie.
The skin-loving $20 smoothie boasted ingredients such as almond milk, strawberries, vanilla collagen, and hyaluronic acid. Erewhon layered it with coconut cream, avocado, maple syrup, and dates. Moreover, the smoothie featured a house-made Strawberry Glaze on top.
Two years later, on August 7, 2024, Sabrina Carpenter also joined hands with Erewhon to launch the Short n’ Sweetie smoothie. The spunky drink had a tropical fruit base with a natural layering of coconut and honey. Not just that, Erewhon topped it with collagen pearl powder and a dash of spirulina to give a sparkling blue color.
Erewhon made the Sabrina special smoothie from organic vanilla oat milk and coconut water. They also topped it with fresh strawberries, mango, pineapple, dates, tocos, vanilla collagen, and rich coconut cream.
Apart from this, Erewhon has often gone viral for its other unique smoothie, which also includes a sunscreen-flavored drink.
