Meghan Markle Might Change Cities Because of This Reason — Source

After four years in sunny Montecito, Meghan Markle may be ready to relocate. A source claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is now tired of the quiet lifestyle and is thus discreetly planning to move closer to the action. Los Angeles and New York are both on her list. For Markle, the plan is not about leaving behind comfort but about chasing momentum.

Meghan Markle is ‘secretly’ trying to leave California, claims source

A source exclusively told RadarOnline that Meghan Markle wants to relocate from her present residence. Hence, she is preparing for “something new.” Although she “appreciates everything Montecito has offered — the calm, the privacy, the breathing room — but it no longer excites her,” according to the insider. The report added that Markle feels “boxed in” living hours away from the fast pace she once loved.

Markle and Prince Harry $14.6 million Montecito mansion, with its nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, pool, gardens, and gym, was supposedly their forever home when they settled in California after leaving royal life in 2020. Now, Markle reportedly sees it as just another stop in their journey. The source claimed, “Montecito feels more like a cage than a sanctuary,” noting that she misses being part of bigger conversations in entertainment and business circles.

According to insiders, the duchess has been quietly looking at homes in Los Angeles, which would put her closer to the industry connections, and in New York, where she sees more opportunities beyond Hollywood. One friend told the tabloid, “Having homes on both coasts feels like the ultimate statement of success.”

While Meghan Markle is all for it, Prince Harry is reportedly less eager to relocate. Those close to the couple say he enjoys Montecito’s peace and privacy, spending time with their children, Archie and Lilibet, and keeping a slower pace. If the reports are true, however, their next chapter may begin far from their California estate.
