The duo, who share two sons and two daughters, reportedly spent time together, and this was not for some brewing romance, but for the happiness of their kids.
Sources close to them told Rob Shuter of #ShuterScoop that when they met, there was no hint of any rift, and they were quite “cordial” with each other. As per the source, “They were surprisingly cordial and focused entirely on co-parenting. It wasn’t about them. It was all about the kids.”
When it comes to the SKIMS founder, insiders claim that even though she knows that her ex hasn’t changed, she is okay with co-parenting with her ex-husband, West. The insider said, “Kim knows Kanye hasn’t changed overnight. She sees him for what he is — chaotic, unpredictable, and sometimes impossible. But she also knows he’s the father of her kids.” They continued, “She’s protective, but willing to meet him halfway for their family.”
When it comes to West, sources say that he wants to be there for his family. “He wants to show up for his family responsibly, and this Christmas was a chance to prove it — at least for the kids,” says a source.
However, while Kardashian is finding a middle ground for her kids, sources say she is wary of a “reformed Kanye.” She wants her family to be happy and is therefore willing to set aside their differences.
