Justin Baldoni Not Ready To End War With Blake Lively — Source

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni‘s legal drama is far from over because rumor has it there’s still “war” brewing in the background. Recently, a judge formally ended the filmmaker’s $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, after he failed to file an amended complaint. However, a source claimed that their bitter battle is nowhere near its end, as Baldoni might not be willing to back down just yet despite facing multiple blows.

Justin Baldoni is losing battle against Blake Lively but ‘war’ isn’t over yet, claims source

Rob Shuter’s #ShuterSchoop exclusively learned that Justin Baldoni’s “war” with Blake Lively continues to rage on despite losing the battle. After a judge formally ended his $400 million countersuit against Lively and Ryan Reynolds, his team seemingly insisted that it was a strategic move. But a source claimed otherwise, alleging that Baldoni has been completely “livid” and feels he was “robbed of his voice.”

As for planning his next move, the actor-director has reportedly been talking about going after anybody he believes smeared his reputation. This might include holding “studios, reporters, publicists,” and others accountable since “nobody’s safe.” A crisis PR insider opined that Baldoni is “grasping” because every new update in the case ensures the “scandal” remains in the spotlight. They further believe that it’s the “last thing his brand needs” right now.

Then, a second publicist source claimed that while Baldoni is “losing the battle,” he isn’t backing down and “hasn’t accepted the war is over.” While the judge dismissed his multimillion-dollar countersuit, the “Gossip Girl” alum‘s original sexual harassment lawsuit, which triggered the months-long saga, is still ongoing. The civil case reportedly heads to court in March 2026. In addition, her request for legal fees from her “It Ends With Us” co-star remains active.

Previously, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, told Page Six that their not opting to file an amended complaint was intentional. The lawyer also claimed that they “remain fully committed to pursuing the truth through every legal and factual avenue available.”
