Isla Fisher comments on Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban divorce
Isla Fisher appeared on the October 23 episode of Dana Carvey and David Spade’s Fly on the Wall podcast, where she shared her thoughts on Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s recent divorce.
During the conversation, the actress opened up about her own split from Sacha Baron Cohen last year after several years of marriage. Carvey then asked Fisher how she feels about having Kidman as a friend who is also tackling a similar situation. “I’m really, really, really shocked,” the star replied.
Fisher further added, “I have left a message, I have not connected yet, but I don’t really wanna comment on that because there are children involved.” The Now You See Me star also mused, “Tough times to be in the public eye.”
Both Isla Fisher’s and Nicole Kidman’s divorces drew massive media attention. The former separated from her longtime husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, at the end of 2023. Their divorce was finalized in June 2025.
This year, Kidman made waves in the global media after the news of her split from Urban broke out in September 2025. The former couple tied the knot in June 2006 and share two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. The Eyes Wide Shut star filed for divorce on September 30, citing irreconcilable differences.
Meanwhile, Isla Fisher is currently promoting her upcoming movie, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the third installment of the popular film series. The actress reprises her role as Henley Reeves in the new sequel. Other returning stars include Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman. The movie is arriving in theaters on November 14, 2025.
