Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughter, Sunday, is “angry” on her mother’s behalf. The former couple’s two daughters have reportedly fully taken their mother’s side after their parents’ divorce. Urban and Kidman announced their separation on September 29, 2025, and the actress filed for divorce the following day, September 30. Since then, Kidman has made numerous public appearances at high-profile events with her two daughters by her side.
Keith Urban’s daughter Sunday snubbed him in interview for a reason
The Babygirl star and Keith Urban’s daughter, Sunday, avoided mentioning her father’s name in a new interview. In an interview with Elle Australia, the 17-year-old said, “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.” Not only that, Sunday praised Kidman’s incredible work ethic and revealed her actress mother taught her to be a good traveller.
Upon hearing this, the country musician reportedly felt “numb.” Notably, Urban hasn’t been photographed with his daughters ever since Kidman filed for divorce. An insider told the outlet, “Keith doesn’t know what to say, but he’s trying to put on a brave front. He knows he has to be patient; however, this latest snub – so publicly, there in black and white – has stumped him. It’s like he doesn’t exist” (via New Idea).
As per the custody agreement, the Spellbound actress gets 306 days with the daughters, while Urban gets only 59 days. The former couple also agreed to have the girls on alternating yearly schedules for holidays.
Insiders revealed to the Daily Mail that the girls spend most of their time with Kidman and are protective of her. However, the 58-year-old actress hasn’t turned the girls against their father. A source explained, “They’ve made their own choices about their dad. [Kidman] isn’t like that. Keith hasn’t tried much to make things better in their eyes. The girls have always been very close with their mother. They are her everything.”
Furthermore, according to the insider, Sunday and Faith are “hurt and angry on her (Kidman’s) behalf” following the couple’s shocking split after 19 years of marriage. The source expressed, “There’s some resentment against Keith. If they are blaming someone, it’s him, not her.”
