In a recent surprise YouTube livestream, Darren Watkins Jr., better known online as IShowSpeed, visited Thailand. Being there strictly for business, he told his viewers that he might as well do an IRL livestream for them. However, while wandering around the streets of Bangkok, he found himself in the red-light area, and what happened next was hilariously shocking.

In his most recent livestream on YouTube, IShowSpeed walked the streets of Bangkok, interacting with locals. At the start of his livestream, he explained to his fans that he was in Bangkok because he “has business.” He then responded to their requests to do an IRL stream in the city, saying, “Obviously, I have business to do in Thailand, so I was like let me spark up an IRL bro.”
As he stepped out of his van, he first visited a shopping center before heading out onto the street. Soon, he came across a red-light district while looking for a club. As he walked down the street, he interacted with a group of girls standing outside an establishment. “Is this club fire?” he asked them, before being called in by the owner. He innocently followed her but was quickly stopped by his team, who told him he couldn’t film inside. A disappointed Speed turned around and said, “She just said I can come in! She literally just said I can come in.”
He then continued walking, waving to fans crowding around him. As he reached the end of the street, he said, “What was the point? I didn’t go to one club.” While he may or may not have realized where he was, his fans definitely found the moment funny. On a clip of the incident posted on X(formerly Twitter), fans reacted to the hilarious moment. One fan wrote, “Speed was about to get into a duel and he didn’t even know it,” while another commented, “Bro treating Thailand like GTA side quest.”
