Brittany Snow shares The Hunting Wives Season 2 update
Actress Brittany Snow revealed that production on The Hunting Wives Season 2 will begin in early November. Without revealing major plot details, she hinted that the upcoming season will take the story to unpredictable new heights.
“We start in a couple weeks, in the beginning of November, so it’s definitely happening,” Snow told ScreenRant. “And I’ve heard some whisperings of what the show is going to be about this season, and somehow it’s crazier than last year.”
The premiere season of The Hunting Wives premiered on July 21 and soon became a hit. Now, following the shocking Season 1 finale, where Margo’s deadly secret came to light, Season 2 is expected to get deeper into the tangled web between Sophie and Margo. Their relationship, once bound by desire and power, will face new threats, betrayals, and the lingering question: who’s really in control?
Showrunner Rebecca Perry Cutter teased that the new season will take viewers “on another sexy, twisted, batshit crazy ride through Maple Brook.” The storyline will continue with an original script rather than a direct adaptation of May Cobb’s book. Cutter hinted that Sophie and Margot will be “on the outs” when the season begins, but “old secrets and new foes [will] force them back together” in ways that blur the line between hunter and hunted. Most of the original cast is set to return, including Malin Akerman, Dermot Mulroney, Katie Lowes, Chrissy Metz, and Jaime Ray Newman. alongside Evan Jonigkeit and George Ferrier. With filming beginning in November, the turnaround suggests that the wait between seasons may not be long.
