Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s latest reunion has caught fans’ attention. Since their divorce was finalized in January, the duo recently publicly appeared together for the very first time. They attended the NYC premiere of J.Lo’s musical, “Kiss of the Spider Woman.” Affleck arrived at the event as the executive producer of the movie. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are not getting back together but are in a ‘great place,’ says source

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s reunion photos and videos allegedly sparked speculations about a rekindled romance. Recently, sources told Us Weekly that they would likely not get back together. However, the two are currently in a “great place” and can “communicate better and have a friendship.”

The insiders also claimed that the former married couple took a “lot of time” to get to the place that they are in right now. The report came after the duo was spotted together at the premiere of Lopez’s movie, “Kiss of the Spider Woman” in New York City. J.Lo and Affleck posed for the cameras and were also spotted interacting with each other.

Before rumors escalated, the source clarified that Affleck attended the event because he’s one of the “producers.” The upcoming musical has been executive produced by Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company, Artist Equity.

At the premiere, the Oscar winner gushed about his ex-wife’s performance in the movie. He said that the singer was “amazing” and had “worked enormously hard.” “You get to see, like, all of her many gifts, she’s somebody that grew up watching, you know, classic musicals,” he added.

Earlier, in an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning,” Lopez opened up about how she managed the filming of the movie while going through a heartbreak. She said that it was the “best and worst of times.” While she was “happy” on the movie set, she used to feel the opposite when she got back home.
