However, the Daily Mail reported that according to The Mail on Sunday, Prince Harry has “lambasted the men in grey suits,” the courtiers, who are “trying to sabotage his reconciliation with the King.”
Looking at the development, a source said that “the relationship between the Duke and His Majesty The King is a matter for the two of them and the two of them only.” They further advised, “The men in grey suits should stay out of it.”
However, it seems the statement from the Duke of Sussex has left Charles “perplexed.” One source, in fact, spilled the beans, claiming, “The reality is that senior aides have been working privately to improve what is an important family relationship.” However, the insider warned that “such public pronouncements only serve to make that endeavour more difficult.”
Harry’s statement was in response to The Sun report, which stated that sources claimed the Duke of Sussex’s meeting with his father on September 10 was “distinctly formal.” The insider even claimed that Harry later described their meeting as “very official, like an official visit.”
However, Harry’s spokesperson declined the statement, saying that “recent reporting of The Duke’s view of the tone of the meeting, is categorically false.” They added, “The quotes attributed to him are pure invention fed, one can only assume, by sources intent on sabotaging any reconciliation between father and son.”
