Royal insiders told Rob Shuter that Meghan Markle had helped Prince Harry with his statement denying false claims about the royal reunion. As per sources, the Duchess of Sussex played an important role in the statement refuting claims that the meeting was “formal.” A palace insider shared with #ShuterScoop, “Harry wanted to come out strong but also measured.” The individual further added, “Meghan has always been protective of him when it comes to the British press.”
“She sat with him and went line by line,” the individual continued. The statement was meant to silence rumors and keep the doors open for future peace talks with King Charles. Another insider mentioned Markle has “always been his fiercest advocate.” The individual concluded, “If Harry is going to take on the palace machine, Meghan makes sure he does it with clarity and impact.”
Prince Harry allegedly joked about being treated like an official visitor rather than a family member in the reunion.
