In the image, she is seen wearing a purple bikini with green borders as she poses stylishly alongside a man. She seems to have blonde hair with curly bangs. The photo’s background music was Waiting in Vain by Bob Marley and the Wailers. She added a sticker of TBT, alluding to the fact that it’s an old picture.
This is not the first time Sofia Vergara has shared a throwback bikini picture; she shared a different image back in October 2024 as well. In the image, she sported a green bikini with black rings on it. Keeping her blonde hair open, she posed holding what appeared to be a tree trunk. She captioned it, “tbt Miami.”
In an interview with E! News, Vergara opened up about how body confidence fades once a person gets older. She said, “Swimsuits are always difficult for women—no matter what age, what size, what race. We all have our insecurities. But once you get older, it’s even more because we don’t look the same.” However, she mentions not shying away from methods that make her feel good about herself and her body.
“I want to feel good and not because what people are thinking of me. It’s for me. I want to feel fresh—not exhausted. You have to accept that you’re going to be different, but also I’m never afraid to do the best that I can. So, if there’s things I can do without going crazy, why not?,” she added.
