As Sabrina Carpenter prepares to release her new album Man’s Best Friend on August 29, she paused to celebrate the first anniversary of her 2024 hit album Short n’ Sweet. Released on August 23, 2024, the record spent four weeks at No.1 on the Billboard 200 and earned Carpenter her first Grammy in the pop vocal album category. The album’s success was driven by singles like “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste.”
To commemorate the anniversary, Carpenter shared a heartfelt Instagram post on August 23, posting a carousel of memories from the past year. This included on-set moments, photo shoots, live performances, and award shows. She wrote, “Pausing from [Man’s Best Friend] to say happy one year of Short n’ Sweet. one year of kiss marks, camaraderie, and being so f—— h—-.”
In her tribute, she expressed gratitude to her fans and collaborators. “This album is one of my most prized possessions and brought me closer to myself as well as so many beautiful people and places.” The singer concluded with, “One of the most fun years I’ve had in my whole life.
