A new rumor has emerged, claiming that Sydney Sweeney may be making Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez jealous. In recent months, the actress has drawn significant attention through her various advertisement ventures. These ventures capitalized on her growing fame and public image. One of these ventures, a jeans ad campaign for American Eagle, drew controversy. This was because some accused it of promoting white supremacy. Sweeney invited further attention when it was reportedly revealed that she was a registered Republican.

According to a new report, Sydney Sweeney’s success and popularity have been making Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez jealous.
An insider told National Enquirer, “Sydney’s getting a ridiculous amount of hate right now and some of it’s coming from major names.” However, they noted that the Euphoria actress was not going to “give anyone the satisfaction of seeing her rattled.”
The insider further alleged that Sweeney was bothered by Kim Kardashian seeing “green around her.” She did not intend to make other women jealous. They continued, “But she’s driven [and] if people want to hate on her because she’s doing well, so be it.” Previously, the outlet reported that the SKIMS founder suffered “a huge blow to her ego” after seeing Sweeney get the spotlight at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding.
Moreover, the outlet suggested that the Americana actress was eyeing a “music career.” They claimed that this “ruffled a lot of feathers, including Jennifer Lopez’s.” They noted that the former was shocked by Lopez’s annoyance, as she “totally loves” the latter and “grew up listening to her music.”
“So she’s pretty much blown away that she’d be seeing her as any sort of competition,” the insider added. “It just proves to her that she’s on the right path and she’s not taking her foot off the brake.”
Furthermore, the insider noted that despite Kardashian and Lopez’s jealousy, “plenty of people in the industry” were “cool with” and “supportive” of Sweeney. They added that she wasn’t concerned with those who did not like her.
The Immaculate actress has found support from some big names. Dr. Phil said he would purchase American Eagle’s jeans for his family to support her. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump called her ad campaign for the apparel company, “the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there.”
