Did you know that there’s an Instagram specifically for photographs taken using drones? Well there is, and before you get all cynical about it, take a moment to consider that the photographs taken using those part-time death machines, part-time Amazon delivery vehicles might actually be good. Like, very good.
Dronestagram held a competition to celebrate the best drone photographs uploaded to their site, and the results are surprisingly wonderful. I mean, I’m still not sold on buying a drone personally, but it’s nice to see some people making some good uses out of them rather than having them float around their restaurants, cutting open the faces of their customers.
