The nominations list for MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2025 has been unveiled. The event is scheduled to take place on September 7, 2025, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. It will also air on CBS and MTV, and stream on Paramount Plus with the premium plan. Voting for all 19 categories of the VMAs is currently open and will close on September 5, except for Best New Artist, which will remain active until the end of the show.
