Jenna Ortega Praises Lady Gaga Ahead of Wednesday Season 2

Jenna Ortega opened up about her experience working with Lady Gaga for Wednesday Season 2 in a recent interview. The latter will be playing a mysterious role in the upcoming installment.

The second season drops exactly three years after the first one. Like the previous installment, Season 2 will have a total of eight episodes. However, they will be split into two parts. Part 1 will drop soon, and the second part will come out the following month.

Miles Millar and Alfred Gough are the creators of this series. Moreover, gothic-horror filmmaker Tim Burton serves as an executive producer.

Jenna Ortega praises Lady Gaga and talks about working with her

In a recent interview, Jenna Ortega was asked what it was like to work with Lady Gaga in Wednesday Season 2.

“She’s unbelievably sweet, and giving, and gracious as a performer,” the 22-year-old told E! News. She shared that it was an “absolute dream” to “spend a day” with the “Mayhem” artist while filming the second season.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who essays Morticia Addams in the series and was also present for the interview, called the singer-songwriter “a queen.” She stated that being in the latter’s presence for “any amount of time” was “memorable.” Furthermore, the Mask of Zorro star mentioned that the pop star was “unassuming in a way,” an opinion the Miller’s Girl actress concurred with.

Jenna Ortega had discussed working with Lady Gaga on Wednesday Season 2 earlier this year in an interview with IndieWire. In it, she called the A Star is Born actress “one of the most talented individuals I’ve ever worked with.”

“It was just a really, really special environment to be there with her and Tim [Burton], two people that I respect and have been inspired by so much,” she added. The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice actress said that it was “very strange” to learn the singer was a “sweetheart” and was “really kind and reserved.”

“I love that you never know what to expect from her,” Ortega shared. “But you can always expect kindness and generosity.”

In Season 2, Lady Gaga plays Rosaline Rotwood. According to the official Wednesday Addams X (formerly Twitter) page, Rotwood is a mysterious character “with a reputation that precedes her.”
