Maureen Maguire, Ed Kelce’s late girlfriend, took her last breath surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, August 2, 2025. While she didn’t appear much on camera with Travis and Jason’s father, she was one of their biggest supporters behind the scenes.
According to her obituary, shared by Ed on his Facebook account, Maguire was an elementary school teacher. She graduated from West Chester University with an education degree in 1972. Before that, she was part of the class of 1968 at Archbishop Prendergast High School.
Maguire was born in the Bronx, New York, on November 21, 1950. She got married to her late husband, Daniel J. Maguire, after years of a successful teaching career and is now survived by her three kids and six grandchildren. Most recently, she spent time in Cape May with her family.
Describing her relationship with Ed and football, because of Travis and Jason, the obituary read, “She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch. While speaking on Audacy’s 92.3 The Fan radio show, Ed recalled how she was the one who helped him remember Taylor Swift’s name when they met at a gathering at Travis’ house.
